New MW3 Map Packs Listed by Release Date

What a season Call of Duty Elite is planning to have with the release of 20 content drops in Nine different Map Packs over the first nine months of 2012 that will include new additions like:

• New Maps
• New Spec Ops Missions
• New Game Modes

LISTEN CLOSELY - Only those who own an Xbox 360 and also have an Xbox Elite Premier Membership will receive the MW3 Map Packs first. That's just the way it is - Activision has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Microsoft so they get the DLC first.

How Do I Download the New MW3 Maps..?

Answer: Simply turn on your Modern warfare 3 game, hop into the Multiplayer menu, scroll down to 'Store'. Here, you will see all the active downloads for Modern warfare 3 available to your console.

You can either download them immediately for free with your Elite statues, purchase Microsoft points directly from the Xbox Live Marketplace, or you can redeem an Xbox Live Code to access points or game content.

And remember to check in with your Call of Duty Elite Premier account and see where you killed the most, where the most traffic is, and the best areas to get those killer headshots..!

DLC 2 - Release Date: January 24th, 2012

Two new Maps were released with the first series of Content Drops for MW3. They are Liberation & Piazza:

LIBERATION: Whip out your sniper gun and block those UAV. This dynamic new Call of Duty Map is set with the Urban back drop of New York City as you take battle in Central Park.

Use the ravines to hide yourself down the center of the map, have a knifing contest by the fountain, hide in the tunnels that lay underneath this new MW3 Map.

Be stealthy, or be fast. Just when you think you've got the best location to camp and snipe, that dude with the sharpest knife is looking for you around the perimeter.

Use trees and bushes for cover, and stay frosty..!

PIAZZA: With the white sand beaches below and the music from the cantina left as a memory of this brilliant Italian seaside village, Piazza is wrapped around different levels of Italy styled shoot 'em up.

Race up and down stairs and hide behind the flower pot, but beware of the vehicles that tempt the campers, the explosive radius is pretty big.

The mountains crawl right down into this tight village battlefield, providing plenty of opportunity to shoot down on your enemy when they least suspect it..!

DLC 3 - Release Date: February 21, 2012

A new MW3 Map is set to release with the second series of content drops in February.

OVERWATCH: Watch your step because you can fall to your death here on the new MW3 Map Overwatch. Keep your eyes peeled too...

Snipers a plenty crawling around the high cranes and nearby ledges. Find a good spot and wait, or run & gun - you're choice.

Over 13,000 square feet of multi level insanity..!

DLC 3 - Release Date: March 2012

With the third installment of the Call of Duty Elite Season one, content drops 4, 5, & 6 will include one new map, a new Spec Ops mission, and one new MW3 game mode.
